The easement covers approximately 80 acres. Approximately three-fourths of the easement area is floodplain forest and the remaining area is agricultural land. Of particular conservation significance is that the floodplain forest is the same type of system mapped by surveyors in the early 1800s. Another significant conservation feature of the easement is the protection of over 200 feet of the Thornapple River.

This property consists of 30 acres in Clinton County. Seven acres are forest, seven acres are wetlands and 16 acres are grassland.

This 57.1 acre parcel has an extensive wetland of approximately 25 acres that is part of a much larger wetland through which Vermillion Creek passes as it flows to the Looking Glass River. Also on the property is an upland forest of about 14 acres and a grassland of 17 acres. The public roads that run along one side of the property provided attractive views of this scenic rural landscape.

This property consists of 27.5 acres in Clinton County. There is a nice 8.5-acre lake with approximately 2,300 feet of shoreline on the protected property. The rest of the land is a mixture of grassland, shrub land, and early successional woodland. Many native trees have been planted on the property and more plantings are planned.

This property consists of 81.5 acres in Hillsdale County of which 78 acres are farmland, and 3.5 acres are forested with 450 feet of natural forested shoreline on a 120 acre lake.
