What the heck did I know about the land conservation movement? Let’s just say it was so minimal, I could not have given you a cursory definition of “conservation easement”. Nor could I tell a walnut tree from an aspen or an oak. Then, as luck would have it, MMLC became a client for two of the Integrated Campaigns capstone classes I then taught at MSU.
