Eureka Natural Area
This 2.4 acre wetland was donated to MMLC in 2012 and is located in close proximity to the town of Eureka which lends its name to this natural area. The property is primarily wetlands with some forested wetlands present on the property. There are no trails on the property and is open to the public for passive use and observation of wildlife and natural features

This wetland habitat filters pollutants, stores water, and provides critical habitat for wetland dependent species
Preserve Guidelines
Stay on trails.
This helps prevent erosion problems and protects delicate wildflowers and other plants from being trampled.
Take your trash with you when you leave.
As a non-profit with an extremely small staff, we are not able to maintain trash cans at our preserves.
Respect wildlife.
Please keep dogs on 6-foot long leashes at all times and do not allow them to chase wildlife. Even chipmunks deserve a break!

Do not collect, remove, or destroy plants
Do not bring alcohol or glass containers into the preserve

Yes, but they must remain on a leash at all times to respect other visitors and wildlife.
